On a trip across the mudflats we will gather seasonal delicacies. It can be anything from common shrimps to oysters as well as sea lettuce and other edible seaweed. Depending on the season, we will find plants like glasswort, scurvygrass and sea plantain hiding in the salt marsh. After our excursion we will prepare the catch and make a real Wadden Sea-meal.
During the trip the nature interpreter will talk about the hidden life in the seabed, and what to look for to find them. Of cause there will also be time to hear about the birds which we come across i the National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
At the end of the trip we will prepare our gathered delicacies over a campfire. We will be walking around 3.5 km.
