The workshop is dedicated to the Ukrainian tradition of headscarves - their history, meaning, and the art of wearing them. You'll learn how Ukrainian women have used headwear to express beauty, identity, and cultural belonging, and you'll gain practical skills to style headscarves yourself.
During the workshop, we'll explore the cultural meaning of the headscarf, look at different types of traditional headwear and ways of tying and styling them, and help you create your own unique look using scarves and headscarves. The headscarf is more than an accessory - it is a symbol of femininity, beauty, and national identity, and an essential part of Ukrainian dress and culture.
