Four days filled with music and joy of life! Active Senior Life - Body and Voice is a course where we dive together into the joys of choral singing and experience the magic of many voices merging into one. As a member of Ældre Sagen you get a 20% discount on the stay
THAT AWAITS YOU:
THIS IS HOW THE DAY GOES
We start the day with a morning assembly where we sing from the folk high school songbook, followed by an exciting presentationThe morning starts with a thorough warm-up of body and voice before we dive into choral songs from both the rhythmic, folk and classical worlds.
The kitchen prepares a tasty lunch, after which we continue with the afternoon programThere will be time to work on the choir songs, dive into the world of body and rhythm with Finn Bygballe, try out vocal improvisation in the form of circle singing and enjoy singing together.
After dinner, we meet for an evening gathering that can include singing from the high school songbook and lectures that spark thoughts about the body and culture - and not least the art of living an active senior life.
CHOIR FOR EVERYONE
All singers, with and without experience, are welcome - there will be challenges for everyone. We will rehearse different choral movements, work with intonation, groove and musical phrasing - with and without sheet music. The repertoire is wide-ranging!We can't wait to share our enthusiasm for singing with you!
