We are repeating the success and are once again offering a course at Vrå Højskole from Monday, June 15th to Sunday, June 21st, 2026 (week 25) - this time with an extra course day!
As committed folk singers, we would like to share the joy of Danish and Nordic folk songs. That is why we invite you to an exciting week where you will have the opportunity to develop yourself as a singer and interpreter.

During the course you will come all the way "around the show".
You will have the opportunity to:
Practice interpreting shows with presence and expression
Become more comfortable performing in front of others
Learn to sing in a different voice, or have someone sing in a different voice for your songs
Try playing together and accompanying other participants
Improve your singing technique and voice use
Help plan and present a café evening as a host
Perform in the evening at our cozy café evening
How the teaching takes place
The teaching takes place in various workshops where we work with:
Collaboration
Keys
Rhythmic and polyphonic singing
Sing-along
You can also get help with guitar playing, especially if you are a beginner and struggle with chords.
Every day starts with a morning assembly, led by either the college or one of the teachers.
Evening activities
Every evening we meet for a café evening where we perform for each other what we have worked on during the day. It is an informal and supportive atmosphere where everyone can join in.
Choose your workshops:
When registering, you must prioritize between the following workshops:
1. Interpretation
Learn how to "go beyond the stage edge" with your singing. We work in small teams and give each other constructive feedback and good advice.
2. Singing technique
Get concrete tools for breathing and voice use - so your voice lasts longer and sounds better.
3. Polyphonic singing
Try your hand at singing with others or get backing vocals on your own song.
4. Planning a café evening
Help plan and host tonight's concert
