Seasonal theme: Messages

When talking about messages in classical music, one of the most touching stories quickly emerges: the love affair - and love triangle - between Robert and Clara Schumann and Johannes Brahms

A story we know very well through their letters to each other - full of emotion, longing and respect.

In this concert program, we celebrate these three unique composers and the real people behind the music. At the same time, we send musical postcards from all over the world - from Japan, the Caribbean and the world of childhood.

A concert about closeness and distance, memories and messages - carried by music that speaks across time and place.

PROGRAM:
Lil Lacy (b. 1985)
"Sakura" for string trio, wind quartet and piano

Robert Schumann (1810 - 1856)
