Hedeland's Veteran Railway runs every Sunday from May 17 until September 20. It's Denmark's longest narrow-gauge railroad, which every Sunday throughout the summer season takes happy guests out into the beautiful nature of Hedeland Nature Park.The tour is perfect for a family ski trip. Boarding and disembarking can be done from the 8 stations and platforms along the route: Climb either the Rubjerg ski slope or Tempelbjerget with Temple of Tokamak and get an overview of Hedeland Nature Park.
Go troll hunting for two of Thomas Damsbo's trolls in Hedeland Nature Park. It is the troll Happy Anders (no. 101) and troll no. 100; Moon Mother, who is hiding in the area.
At Fem Ege there is a large nature playground for children and adults with covered dining and barbecue areas. A trip by train usually starts from Hedehusgård station. From here, the train departs every Sunday from 10:30 and 11:00, then every 45 minutesTrains are pulled by both steam and motor locomotives.

The track's locomotives originate from industrial railways of the past and the largest locomotives weigh 12-16 tons, so they're tiny compared to the big ones - but that just makes them more fun for kids and kids at heartWe run both steam trains and motorized trains.
