What does it take to play a good solo on our instrument? In this class, you'll learn the ingredients and content needed to play a great solo over a given song or melody for singers and instrumentalists
With the African music tradition and Louis Armstrong as a foundation, as these are fundamental to rhythmic music and the rhythmic music tradition, we work with form, melody playing, variations, scales, harmony and rhythm. Bring your main instrument.
Martin is educated from the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in both rhythmic and classical music within the specific majors of singing and percussion/drums.
TIME POINTS:
Appointments are available between 17:00-18:15 and 20:15-21:30 (before and after our ensemble classes in
Rhythmic ensemble playingin Roskilde, running from 18.30-20.00).
It is possible to sign up on a rolling basis if space is available.
