FAMILY CAMP ON FEMØ IN WEEK 29 JULY 12-18, 2026
In collaboration with Femø Jazz Festival, Cirkus Panik is moving to Femø again, where wefor the fifth year in a rowcreate our very own family camp. Here we meet across generations to train, play, immerse ourselves and be together in the middle of natureOur circus tents form the framework for the camp, and you live on the site in your own tents with access to all shared facilities.
The camp opensSunday, July 12th at 3 pm, where you can arrive, set up your tent, meet instructors and participants, and participate in welcome activities. Dinner will be served for those who have signed up for the meal plan.
Choose between Circus School or Art School!
This year, families can choose between two main tracks:
Circus school
For those of you who dream of the circus universe and want to learn acrobatics, juggling, clowning and more.
The teachers guide you through the week and help create the big event of the year.circus performance, which will be presented on Friday, July 17th.
Art school
This year we have chosen to invest heavily in developing our art scene. For those of you who love to create with your hands, experiment and immerse yourself.
The week ends in avarnishingFriday 17/7 with your art projects.
Pop-up workshops and activities throughout the week
In addition to the main tracks, the week offers a wide range of voluntary pop-up activities, which everyone can participate in according to their desire and energy.Activities include: choir, morning yoga, knitting café, thumb trilling course, children's open mic, salsa, snowshoeing... and many more!
The pop-up activities vary from day to day, so there will always be something new to explore.
Miniclub for 3-5 year olds
For the youngest participants we offer a safemini club, where children - together with their parents - can participate in specially designed activities within circus, music, movement and art. Participation is limited to the extent that makes sense for the child's age, energy and desire.
Practical information
Children under 10 years old must participate with an adult in various workshops during the week. We have separate activities for younger children between 3-5 years old. Children under 3 years old participate for free at the family camp.
We encourage the whole family to participate in the family camp!
The price for participating in the family camp (excluding food) is 2100 DKK per person.
ACCOMMODATION
Be part of the family camp and stay overnight at the family camp during the week. You must bring your own tent etc. There are toilets and showers on the site. In addition, there is access to the large circus tent, the dining tent and the lounge tent during the days and evenings.
The overnight stay includes access to bathrooms, toilets, stay at the family campsite and evening activities. The overnight stay is part of the family camp price.
Tent hotel
Don't have your own tent or want to lug less? We offer rental of a pitched tent incl. 2 mattresses for 1,500 DKK per tent. The tent is ready upon arrival, so you can move in immediately.
FOOD ARRANGEMENT
The food scene is a cornerstone of the family camp, a place where community and good ingredients come together for amazing meals.
Participants can purchase a shared meal plan, which includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks and dinner, all primarily vegetarian and made with good, organic and local ingredients.
To strengthen the community, teams are formed, where everyone has four cooking, cleaning or dishwashing tasks during the week.Being on a team together provides an opportunity to get to know people across the camp and makes cooking a fun and enjoyable experience where both children and adults contribute.
The food scene is not just about nutrition, it is a gathering point where taste, learning and community go hand in hand, and where everyone experiences that they are contributing to something greater.

Children under 12 years 900 DKK.
Children under 3 years old free

We believe in cultural experiences across generations
At Cirkus Panik, we have more than 25 years of experience in creating circus and family camps where children and adults participate on an equal footing and contribute according to their ability.Here we have seen how entire families flourish, perhaps also because the circus has a tradition of accommodating everyone across all ages.The project was therefore not created to act as a childcare service for parents, but as a loving invitation for families to relive and see each other in new ways - with mother as a tightrope walker, father as a juggler, little brother at the top of the pyramid andBig brother in the kitchen frying vegetable dishes for the whole camp.
The family camp is only possible because we have a strong team of volunteers who, across generations and over decades, have helped to support the project with everything from fundraising, building and dismantling the camp site, and initiatingactivities and much more.
We believe that through strong experiences and stellar moments, we can give families and each other a fantastic summer together and feel the feeling of being part of a large community.
