This class is for those who know a little Spanish. You can use short and simple sentences to get by in the most common travel situations, as well as shopping and restaurant visits and talk about your family. You can speak in the present tense and also use the most common irregular verbs.
You know the verb tenses pretérito pérfecto (before present tense) and pretérito indefinido (short past tense), but need practice using them.
This season we are working on expanding our vocabulary and knowledge of verbal periphrases and the use of TENER, SER, ESTAR and HAY. We practice talking about causes, needs, habits and conditional sentences with 'if' ('si')In my teaching, I place great emphasis on the communicative aspects with a focus on the students' oral language skills, and not least a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
