Danseorkestret was born in 1984 out of SNEAKERS percussionist Jacob Andersen's desire to write his own music. He teamed up with singer Jørgen Klubien, who was a well-known singer from Melodi Grandprix (1981-82)The two managed to make 6 1/2 albums together before Jacob passed away in 2021. Klubien has had a long and successful career as an illustrator for Disney and Pixar.California, the sunny American state, has been an inexhaustible source of inspiration with its colorful mix of destinies and placesThat's why it makes sense for Klubien to have musical echoes from the Motown catalog, which Klubien has cultivated since his Copenhagen boyhood.
