Come and participate in Samsø's fun and informal Stand up Paddle competition in Ballen v. Værftet
Only once before has there been a competition to be the fastest from A to B on a paddleboard. We're doing it again and hope you'll join us!
On July 4, 2026, it is possible to participate in a fun race and a pro race. Fun race participants are provided with beginner-friendly equipment, so it is the same for everyone. Pro race participants bring their own raceboard or rent one from SamSurf.
For the participants in the fun race, there are no skill requirements, just that you want to paddle on an arranged 1 km course and do everything you can to get to the finish line as quickly as possible.
For participants in the pro race, you must be able to paddle a minimum of 4 km.
It will be a limited course close to the coast with bends.
You can compete in men's, women's and junior (12-18 years) categories.
