Mads Søndergaard is a prominent Danish jazz pianist known for his melodic playing, strong swing and stylistic breadthWith a natural ease, he moves between ragtime, stride, bebop, bossa, pop and the singer/songwriter tradition - and he masters piano, Hammond organ and accordionHe graduated from The Royal Conservatory in The Hague (2003) and has since been an active part of the Copenhagen jazz scene. Søndergaard has appeared on a number of releases, including Storyville Records and Playground Music.He combines tradition and innovation with a confident musical overview and a lively improvisational style.
