Welcome to the greenJonstrup Jazz Festival falls every year on the third weekend in August. It has been that way since 1996, and every year the former Jonstrup Seminarium forms an idyllic setting for the festival in the small village by the air station
It is both a celebration of good music, a city party for the whole family and an opportunity to dance the summer goodbye or just wiggle your toes while enjoying the art exhibition, a quiet beer or the many other fun and cozy offers that are regulars.program items year after year. Music is central to the festival and Jonstrup Jazz emphasizes presenting a varied and audience-friendly music program of high quality within various genres of jazz, blues, soul, funk and world music.

Sunday 16/8 at 9:30 - 16: Jazz brunch: Rêve Boheme Jonstrup's kindergarten children perform Children's jazz: On Tuesday, on Tuesday Daimi and Louisiana Jazzband

In addition to the music program, there are exciting children's activities including bouncy castles, Hat Theatre, children's jazz, singing games for the little ones, role-playing games and art school arranged by Jonstrup Art School and an art exhibition where local artists exhibit.

Address: Jonstrup GlSeminarium, Jonstrupvangvej 150, Jonstrup, 3500 Værløse.Transport: There is a limited number of parking spaces in Jonstrup, so we recommend that you come on foot, by bicycle or by public transport.Bus 152 right to the door from Måløv St. andVærløse St. The event is outdoors, but a large part of the space is covered with tents, where there are tables and benches, but still bring some warm clothes for the evening.
Children under 12 years old have free admission with a paying adult. Extra EarlyBird discount when purchasing before June 15th.
Pre-sale ends on August 13th. Remaining tickets are sold at the entrance.
Handicap info: A regular ticket must be purchased, after which a person can bring their companion in for free upon presentation of a companion card.
Food and drink
The bar is well stocked with draft beer from Skovlyst, wines and a variety of other drinks. Restaurant Jonstrup Gl. Købmandsgård serves delicious dinners on Friday and Saturday.
In addition, throughout the festival there will be a grill bar and café with everything from Parisian toast to coffee and homemade cake.
Jazz Brunch Sunday 10am-12pm. Tickets can be purchased together with other tickets.
You support the festival when you buy food and drinks here, and you help create the foundation for music and joy to continue to thrive and develop in Jonstrup. Food and drinks are therefore not allowed to be brought in.
