Fanø free folk festival returns! We're excited to return to the beautiful island of Fanø next summer. Fanø Free Folk Festival #13 will take place 25-27. July. 2024. Save the date!
As always, Fanø Free Folk Festival will take place in the lovely village Sønderho with Sønderho Forsamlingshus as the main venue. Over 3 days we present you with a carefully curated and diverse line-up exploring crossroads between folk roots and experimental approaches. All set in intimate surroundings and driven by passionate volunteers and community spirit.
TICKETSA very limited amount of full festival tickets are put on sale and usually they sell out quickly. Ticket sale opens on 14. December 2023 at 10.00 AM (local time) via Billetto.
Note that full festival tickets give access to all official festival events. Accommodation isn't included - we recommend Camping Klitten for camping options nearby, and refer to Visit Fanø for other options (holiday houses etc.).
MUSICWe're in the process of putting together an awesome programme for you. First acts will be revealed soon. In total you can expect around 20 concerts over the 3 days of the festival. Make sure to follow the Facebook event to receive updates.
PRACTICALThe festival takes place in the village Sønderho on the island of Fanø, situated in the Southwest of Denmark. The nearest city is Esbjerg, which is well connected to the rest of Denmark by train. A small ferry connects Fanø to Esbjerg and operates all day long. Nearest main airport is Billund.
