Dr. Lyla June Johnston (aka Lyla June) is an. Indigenous musician, author, and. community organizer of Diné (Navajo),. Tsétsêhéstâhese (Cheyenne) and European. lineages. Her multi-genre presentation style.

Has engaged audiences across the globe
towards personal, collective, and ecological
healing. She blends her study of Human
Ecology at Stanford, graduate work in
Indigenous Pedagogy, and the traditional
worldview she grew up with to inform her
music, perspectives and solutions. She will
be discussing how teachers can empower
their students to understand, reckon with,
and begin to transform our violent colonial
past.
Jan Øberg
Jan Øberg is an internationally respected
peace researcher, mediator and peace
commentator, as well as an art
photographer. He is the co-founder and
director of the independent TFF - The
Transnational Foundation for Peace &
Future Research in Lund, Sweden, since
1985. Jan Øberg has contributed to
many of our Peace Justice Conferences
and always brings a valuable perspective
on the reasoning behind many of the
global conflicts, how we can promote
Peace and the global attitudes towards
Peace that he has experienced in his
many decades of work.
