It's a long time since we have done a Synth / EBM event.
In May we will host a show with two great bands: Machinista from Sweden who is back in Copenhagen after 5 years of absence, the last time was in 2019 when Machinista played Elektroland at Herlev Bibliotek, witch was a killer show!
The opening act is the Danish Old School EBM band Bionic Bitch, it will be their first show in Copenhagen in 4 years!
After the bands at the afterpary our DJ / DJ's will be spinning a lot of great music as usual!!
Machinista:
The Swedish Synth /EBM Machinista was formed around 2014 and consists of the singer John (who's also the singer of Cat Rapes Dog) Mattias
on guitar (who's also a member of Project Grudge) and Richard on keyboards. Mattias joined Machinista later in the autumn 2016.
In 2014 Machinista released their first album called Xenoglossy on the English laber Juggernaut Music, afterwards it was reissued on the label Analogue Trash. One year after Machinista released their second album Garmonbozia that contains the club hits Dark Heart Of Me and We Are Rockets. In 2019 Machinista released so far their latest album Anthropocene. The 3 albums have been reissued afterwards on Vinyl.
Machinista plays a great mixture of Synth Pop with some Industrial Rock influences. On stage they are famous for their energetic live show,
so there's something to look forward to!
Bionic Bitch:
The Danish Old School EBM band was formed in 2009 by the singer Use, keyboard player JSPR and the keyboard player / drummer Ptr (also well known for the band Portland). So far Bionic Bitch have released one album called White Trash back in 2011.
Bionic Bitch have released a lot of succesfull digital singles on Bandcamp the latest single Hate med came out last year.
This year Bionic Bitch is celebrating their 15 years of excistence with their first show in 4 years in Copenhagen. Bionic Bitch has also been the opening act here in Copenhagen for bands like Hocico and Suicide Commando. Bionic Bitch is
influenced by bands as DAF, Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, Tyske Ludder and more.
