Parampara : Tradition is a cultural program organized by Dr. Chaithanya Jayakumar, founder of Natya Chethana Dance School (CVR:44499533) With the event "Parampara- The Tradition'' as an organizer I intend to create an awareness in the Danish community how the traditional concert happens in India, by showcasing some of the classical and folk cultural performances with live music and dance. Unlike last year this time we have an instrumental medley also where an attempt is made by the Danish and Indian artists to club the two styles of Indian classical music with western instrument like Clarinet along with traditional Indian instruments like Sitar Flute and Tabla. Earlier I used to be coordinator member of SICMACAY(Society for the Promotion of
Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst the Youth) in India, which was a non profit organization trying to organize musical and dance concert events for creating public awareness. My idea of Parampara
is inspired from this non profit move. For the current event as an organizer I have no profit motto, so I am excluding my fees as an organizer. Through the event of Parampara, we will be showcasing the classical and folk culture from different parts of India by artists from Denmark and India and Bangladesh.
