Vega backstage Tour - with Nikolaj Muldkjær

Experience the magic of VEGA outside opening hours. VEGA is the former Folkets Hus.

Since Vilhelm Lauritzen designed the beautiful functionalist building that opened its doors in 1956, every corner has been dedicated to community, art and culture. Originally, the house was home to the Danish labor movement, which for decades held everything from political meetings and congresses to wedding anniversaries and Christmas tree parties in the house on Enghavevej.

Today, Lauritzen's architectural master stroke is Denmark's leading concert venue with more than 400 events annually in three concert halls with visits from both international superstars and new upcoming names. During a VEGA Backstage tour, you dive into more than 60 years of lived history between the brown wooden panels.

You'll gain insight into the concert productions and the special history of the house. You'll find out how the musicians start their evening before stepping out on stage, hear the best stories from our first 25 years as a concert venue and gain insight into the development from a working-class stronghold to Denmark's largest concert venue for rhythmic music.

The tour is with VEGA historian Nikolaj Muldkjær and starts at 17:30 in front of Store VEGA's entrance. The entire tour takes about two hours and ends with a beer or water. This is included in the ticket price.
