Algovoice

Fylkingen, Norbergfestival & Inkonst are excited to present algovoice with: Sabiwa, Niklas Dahlqvist, Klara Lewis + Peder Mannerfelt & Scott Cazan.

Algovoice is a concert programme where we present a series of gigs exploring the intersection of the voice and algorithmic composition, in the context of contemporary experimental electronic music. Artists working with AI and machine learning, careful sound sculpting, audiovisual performance and innovative voice techniques are sharing the bill.

Fylkingen : 24 May 2024. 19.30

Niklas Dahlqvist

Niklas Dahlqvist (b. 1992) is a composer from Stockholm whose work revolves around machine learning, algorithmic composition and virtual sound objects. Klara Lewis + Peder Mannerfelt

Klara Lewis is a sound sculptor and loop finder. She has spent the last decade creating equally tender and brutal albums for Editions Mego as well as in collaborations with Nik Colk Void, Yuki Tsujii and Peder Mannerfelt

Peder Mannerfelt splits the difference between playful immediacy and daring experimentation. You're as likely to find him premiering a live show at Berlin's Atonal festival as pulling apart fabled techno meccas from Berghain to Fabric with synapse-frying precision. One minute he's being asked to remix Björk, and the next he's dropping EPs of non-conformist techno for Karenn's Voam label.

Scott Cazan

Scott Cazan is composer, performer, and sound artist from Los Angeles working in experimental music, sound installation, and software art exploring cybernetics, aesthetic computing, and emergent forms resulting from human interactions with technology. His work often involves the use of psychoacoustics and feedback networks where misunderstanding and chaotic elements act as a catalyst for emergent forms in art and sound.
