Questioning Creatives: World Wide Web

Questioning Creatives is a series of events that question the status quo in our creative industries.

In this "World Wide Web" version, we'll discuss the rise and fall of internet culture, the problematic use of AI and its biases, and how we as creatives can care for, protect and cultivate inclusive culture online.

How does capitalism shape internet culture, and vice/versa?
How can we use the internet to liberate and educate?
How do we as creatives tap into internet culture without violating it?
How do we use AI as a tool to break stereotypes, not generate more?

Program ->
Each speaker will give a 20-minute talk related to the topic. We'll end with a panel discussion and a Q&A session. The panel and Q&A session will be moderated by creative, documentarist and diversity consultant, Jennifer Tonndorff.
Speakers ->
Ada Ada Ada (she/they) is an algorithmic artist, who works within an intersectional eco-feminist framework. She works with gender, queerness and bodies as perceived by computers through algorithms, software, "artificial intelligence" and more. Ada moves between art forms, and so far, her practice has included performative photography, generative art, net art, writing, interactive installations as well as live "artificial intelligence" performance.

Sophie Gevind (she/her) is the founder and creative director of Public Service. As creatives, we always strive to tap into culture, a culture which has become more visible and accessible thanks to the internet. Sophie investigates how we use culture in commercial creativity - is there a way to do it, without violating that culture?

Anne Katrine Raahede (she/her) is a graphic designer and part of Cybernauterne, a collective of experts in internet culture and cybersecurity. Anne Katrine is behind several digital initiatives, workshops and talks debunking online myths, educating on internet culture and fostering better understanding between online generations. Knowledge sharing and making knowledge accessible to a broader audience through visual communication is the foundation of Anne Katrine's practice.
